Balls...

Wall along a sidewalk in midtown. A lot of buildings use this type of construction to keep people and in some cases pigeons from sitting on the walls.

Never seen these before and I can't imagine it will keep the pigeons away :) ...but the photo is a great abstract with a beautiful colortoning en lighting on the balls.

@Monique: This is more of the people version. The pigeon version tends to have prickly wires sticking up.

I've never noticed this kind of bird deterrent before. They look like pearls. Very cool shot.

@Laurie: This one is actually more of a people deterrent the bird version has more spike like wires. Thanks Laurie
