Linerberry from Sumner, Christchurch, New ZealandWOW great clarity!Perfect timing for a great pose:-) 29 Nov 2008 5:20am @Linerberry: Thanks Liner...I cheated a little with some noise reduction freeware. Kay from Greater Portland area, United StatesI agree with Linerberry. This image is crisp and sharp. 29 Nov 2008 5:31am @Kay: Thanks Kay. I actually used a freeware sharpening photo to reduce the noise. They turned up the lights for the finale but not quite far enough. Nina from Hamburg, GermanyWhat a fantastic photo, colors and clarity are simply great! 29 Nov 2008 7:22am @Nina: Thanks Nina. @Véronique: Thanks Veronique. jamesy from christchurch, New ZealandWow you are the ballet master of photographs anyway my shot of the day just stunning!!!!! 29 Nov 2008 8:26am @jamesy: Thanks. They turned up the lights for the last run through so the light improved a little bit. Giovanni from Milan, ItalyWow, stunning capture! JJ from Jersey City, United StatesBeautifully captured, the lighting sense of movement are superb May I aks which freeware noise reduction software do you use I havent tried any yet but should 29 Nov 2008 4:26pm @JJ: The software is called Noiseware. They have a community edition version which is free (at least it was when I took this). I used my D70 to take the photo so the noise was pretty noticeable (one of the reasons I purchased the D300). Thanks JJ. Alphons from Kaatsheuvel, NetherlandsProfessional stagephoto. Well done, Charles. Bye. 29 Nov 2008 6:13pm @Alphons: Thanks Alphons. NADINE DERUYCK from KLUISBERGEN, Belgiumvery sharp portrait of a beautiful dancer , well focused!!!!! 29 Nov 2008 8:08pm @NADINE DERUYCK: Thanks Nadine. I used a little enhancement with noise reduction to boost the iso to help with the shutter speed. Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomExcellent image Charles, I've seen these Flamenco style dancers a few times, wonderful to watch. 30 Nov 2008 1:37am @Observing: Thanks Mike. Justin Willhite from Santa Rosa, United StatesI love how you caught the motion as well as the still of the dancer. Awesome show. 30 Nov 2008 2:09am @Justin Willhite: Thanks Justin. @Laurie: Thanks. Marion from Liberty Township, United StatesCharles, superb capture! Showing the movement with a sharp focal point. Love it! I wished I could have seen this ballet! :) 30 Nov 2008 2:09pm @Marion: Thanks Marion. I am still learning how to shoot in low light situations. I went aperture priority and hoped for a fast enough shutter speed. When I used shutter priority I found the focus point was never close to what I wanted. @lydia: Thanks Lydia. |
