Columbus Circle in midtown.

Fountains in Columbus Circle flying under the Maine Monument at Merchants Gate entrance to Central Park. The Monument was originally supposed to be erected in Times Square.

@jamesy: Thanks Deb. Actually that part of town that time of day is a little on the dull side tone wise so I am not sure color would make much difference but I'll post one later for comparisons.

@Kenton: Thanks Kenton. I couldn't get a good angle with the traffic that didn't include the fountains so I decided to make them the centerpiece.

interesting fact! i love the shapes in the water that you have captured! maybe cropping out the sky would make this image a bit stronger - because the sky is pretty empty and i don't think we need it to be included in the image to get a sence of the place because you have already acheived that with the layers of subject matter - i hope that made some sence!!!

@Kathryn: Now that I look at the picture again that does make sence!. I have to figure out where I saved the original and give it a try.
